Arrival and Dismissal
Parents are asked to accompany their child into school and to make sure that they are in the supervision of the teacher before leaving.  Your child will be released only to the parents or to a person designated in writing by the parents to receive the child.
 
Food and Nutrition

Meals will be nutritious, well-balanced and appealing to young children.  Lunch will include milk, a meat or meat alternative, bread and two servings from the fruit and/or vegetable group.

 Active Image

All meals served to children under the the Child and Adult Care Food Program are served at no separate charge regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.  There is no discrimination in admission policy, meal service or the use of facilities.  The complaint procedures:  Any complaints of discrimination should be submitted in writing within 180 days of incident to the USDA, Director, Office of Civil Rights, Washington D.C.  20250.

 
Illness

We will notify parents immediately if their child becomes ill during the day.  Your child will be made as comfortable as possible in a quiet area away from the other children until your arrival.  Please be considerate of others and keep your child home if any of the following symptoms occur:  diarrhea, temperature of Active Image100 degrees or more, vomiting, itchy red eyes, suspicious rash, or a severe cold or cough.  Your child must be free of the above symptoms for at least 24 hours before returning to the center.  Our staff may refuse care to any child who they feel is too ill to be present.
